Privacy policy
Last updated 21 October 2026
TidyRow is built so that we never see your data. This page explains exactly what is and isn’t collected.
Your files
- CSV files you open in TidyRow are read and cleaned entirely inside your web browser.
- File contents are never uploaded to our servers, never stored in a database and never shared with anyone.
- If you buy a full-file download, a copy of the file is kept temporarily in your own browser’s storage (IndexedDB) so it survives the trip to the payment page. It stays on your device and is deleted after you download, or after 24 hours.
Payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- When you pay, we send Stripe an anonymous fingerprint of your file (a SHA-256 hash) and its row count, so the payment unlocks the right file. The fingerprint cannot be turned back into your data.
- Stripe collects the details you enter at checkout, such as your email and billing information, under Stripe’s privacy policy.
Website data
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t track you across websites. It never sees the contents of your files.
- Your browser’s local storage remembers your chosen phone country and, if you buy a 30-day pass, the pass’s Stripe reference and expiry date. These never leave your device except to check the pass with Stripe.
- Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages visited) for security and reliability.
